Install on Wix

Add the UCrew chat widget to any Wix website using Wix's built-in Custom Code feature — no technical knowledge required.

Before You Start

  • Get your Project ID from UCrew Dashboard → Project Settings → Widget
  • You need Editor or Owner access on the Wix site
  • Wix Custom Code requires a Premium (paid) Wix plan

Method A — Wix Custom Code (Recommended)

Open Your Wix Dashboard

Go to manage.wix.com and select your site. In the left sidebar click Settings → Custom Code.

Custom Code is a Dashboard feature, not the visual Editor. Go to manage.wix.com, not your site editor.

Add New Code Snippet

Click + Add Custom Code and configure:

  • Name: UCrew Widget
  • Placement: Body — end of body
  • Add to pages: All Pages

Paste the Script

Replace YOUR_PROJECT_ID with your actual Project ID.

Apply & Publish

Click Apply then publish your Wix site. The widget appears on your live site immediately.

Custom Code only appears on the published site, not in the editor preview. Always publish to test.

Method B — HTML iFrame (Free Plans)

For free Wix plans, use the HTML embed element. Note: widget appears inline in the element, not floating globally.

Add HTML Embed

In the Wix Editor → Add (+) → Embed → HTML iFrame. Place it in a corner of your page.

Enter Code & Publish

Click Enter Code and paste:

Click Update, then publish your site.
